Let’s dive in Sistahs to see how ready you are to “stand up”.
So first, let me start off by saying sorry that I missed last week’s post. It was a very long week and I am sure other busy Sistahs can relate. Now, fall is coming, are you ready to stand up? I know, I got you thinking, say what or huh? But, with every season there comes change, so what changes are you ready to “stand up” instead of fall for this Fall season that is around the corner. Ahhhh now you follow me, right? Sure you do!
Sistahs, let me state the clause, like I always drop before we start our blog journey. These are my thoughts and I know everyone does not think alike, however, there are many people that does feel like I do and can relate. If you are like me, you have been “falling” behind on things for you personally. Your goals, your mind reset and your perspectives on life in general. With the new season approaching, ask yourself this question. Why wait to stand up and stop falling? Exactly, no need to wait until the new year to reset your mindset. Let’s use this new season to stand up, stop falling and prep yourself for the new you before the new year. So Sistahs, I am screaming STAND UP to you and to me.
I love fall! It is something about the season that makes me feel all warm inside. The clothes, the harvest scents available to enhance your fall mind and the cooler days to allow your body to relax and chill. However, for me, there are some things I have decided not to take with me this Fall from pass seasons! Now, don’t get me wrong, not everything has to be looked at in a negative way. We have enough of “Debbie Downers” in our lives. Plus, It’s not always…girl I am not dealing with this relationship in the Fall, this job, these kids, this, this and this. Let’s change our mindset and look into our inner souls and not how other souls has impacted you personally in the past. I share with you some questions to ask yourself to understand what you want to change for the new season. I suggest journaling the answers to gain a deeper connections to your inner thoughts.
- What Does “Feeling New” Mean to You?: Think about what feeling new means to you in your own words. This will start you off with a personal vision of renewal for you. Add actions to those thoughts for next step guidance to take.
- What Relationships Energize You?: Consider the people in your life who support your wellbeing and spiritually. Now this is the time to evaluate your all your relationships. The time to determine if adjustments are needed within yourself to gain positive people in your life circle.
- What’s Been On Your Bucket List?: Do you have a dream or aspiration you have not thought about in a while and need to pursue? Here is my “Why wait” question to do things on your bucket list you could complete now. Make sure your bucket list is up to date and go for it!
- What Short Term Goals Do You Want to Achieve now?: Align those goals with your aspirations stated in question #3. Go wild, don’t be afraid to explore all areas, whether they’re related to career, personal growth, health, or relationships, having clear goals can provide direction and motivation.
- Last and most important to me. Find a way to add Mindfulness and Meditation in your life. Fall can be a busy time, with school, work, and holidays approaching. Practice mindfulness and meditation to stay grounded and reduce stress. Spend a few minutes each day focusing yourself and being present in the moment for a peace of mind.
Heyyyyyy Sistahs…drop some pics..could be about new you with new look, quotes, or my favorite Affirmations! Look forward to review Sistahs!
